Abstract
The primary objective is to explain about touch projector technology concept and how to use it. The
intention is to look at the present touch projector as a new technology aimed to enable performing tasks as a
huge touch screen. The historical background provides review of Cicret Bracelet. Cicret Bracelet is a
bracelet that projects a fully functioning Android tablet on your skin. It gives complete information about
cicret bracelet. A cicret App is used for connecting mobile phone to the cicret bracelet. It is developed based
on cloud technology. It turns our arm as new touch screen. It has effective future that has water proof
technology.
Introduction
The touch projector technology “magic” is that it is able to turn any surface into a
touchscreen. User can interact with the touchscreen by using the touch projector stylus pen, fingers
or traditional dry-erase markers. It can be displayed on any suitable surface such as data show, white
board, wall or arm. Cicret bracelet is a small wristband that turns skin into a touch screen. It is
unique because it uses skin as a new touchscreen. An user can do all the activities which are done by
the mobile i.e, do whatever you want on your need.

Cicret consists of two parts. One is the application part and the other is a wearable bracelet.
The Cicret App is the only intuitive, secure and free solution for those who want to chat, share and
exchange safely with no chance of being traceable. The app is an innovative encrypted technology
providing anonymity and full control on all contents you have shared, even after sending them. It
allows you to give all your personal information always with you, on your arm.

With wearables gaining some traction, smartphones and tablets are by no means the only mobile
devices around nowdays. Now, though, Cicret is looking to things a step farther and turn your arm into a
smartphone.
The bracelet comprises a pico projector and a row of eight proximity sensors that point towards the
user’s forearm. It operates as a standalone device and, when activated with a twist of the wrist, projects an
Android interface onto the user’s arm, much like Chris Harrison’s Skinput research. The proximity sensors
detect where the user’s finger or fingers are and allow them to interact with the interface as they would do
for any other Android device.

What is Cicret?

Cicret is the combination of two products with a single idea to give you complete control.
Two Products:
a) Cicret App
b) Cicret Bracelet

It needs CICRET app to connect with the mobile phone. When it comes to the realm of electronics,
wearable technology has fueled a flurry of devices that touch both ends of the practically spectrum.
Hopefully, the above pictured Cicret Bracelet would fall into the appropriate side of this range, given the
conceptual contraption literally transforms your arm into an interactive mobile device. It does so with its
pico projector that helps in plotting a non-intrusive touchscreen onto your forearm, and an array of eight
proximity sensors that recognizes your fingers. In essence, you can interact with this portion of your skin,
and thus navigate through and control the UI of the device.

Other than just the display, the Cicret Bracelet will come with an accelerometer, vibration mode and
LED for notifications. As for functionality, one can access the email, browse the internet and even play
mobile games. However, the best part arguably pertains to how the wearable can be paired with your
smartphone-which in turn would allow you to answer incoming calls (with the aid of a speakerphone) by
just interacting with your limb.

The wireless connectivity ambit of the device can be fueled by various options, including both
Bluetooth and WiFi. But as we mentioned before, the physical scope of the Cicret Bracelet design is still in
its conceptual stage. As a matter of fact, according to Cicret co-founder Guillaume Pommie, the
development project is in the phase of raising funds for a future prototype. But then comes the bad news for
many of us – the end product of an arm-based touchscreen that might be commercially available by 2016,
can potentially cost around a whopping $400.
CICRET APP

The CICRET is the only intuitive, secure and free solution for those who want to chat, share and
exchange safely with no chance of being traceable. It’s an innovative encrypted technology
providing anonymity and full control on all contents you have shared, even after sending them. The CICRET
app available on Android.

Features:

number of views.
 Edit : Remotely adjust whatever you sent.
 Delete : Remotely erase whatever you wrote.
 Exchange whatever you want with whoever you want (Pictures, Videos, Document, Notes, Audio etc…)
 Stores a file on your computer and remotely gets it back on your smart phone via CICRET
 Only those to whom you gave your ID, CICRET can contact you and vice versa.
 Data access at anywhere at any time.

CICRET BRACELET

With the Cicret Bracelet, you can make your skin your new touchscreen. Read your mails, play your favourite games,
answer your calls, check the weather, find your way…Do whatever you want on your arm.
Cicret Application
It is secure and free solution for those who wants to:
a) Chat
b) Share
c) Safe Exchange of data

Component

CICRET bracelet is the aggregation of many components:

 Accelerometer
 Memory Card
 ROM
 Processor
 Vibrator
 Micro USB port
 Battery
 Proximity Sensor (Long Range)
 Pico Projector
 Bluetooth
 Wifi Component
 LED
 Snap Button
Accelerometer
Accelerometers are used to detect and monitor vibration in rotating machinery. Accelerometers are
used in tablet computers and digital cameras so that images on screens are always displayed upright.
Accelerometers are used in drones for flight stabilisation. In smart phones the display gets tilted
automatically to adjust to users view due to the working of the accelerometer. In CICRET, when the bracelet
is shook twice, it gets activated and when shooked again puts it in a sleep mode.

Memory card
A memory card or flash card is an electronic flash memory data storage device used for storing
digital information. These are commonly used in many electronic devices, including digital cameras, mobile
phones, laptop computers, MP3 players and video game consoles, Tablets. Most of these can be diminutive,
re-recordable, and can retain data without power. 16 to 32GB is currently available for CICRET.

Wifi component
The wifi component enables connection between the smart phone and the CICRET bracelet as long
as there is an internet connection available for the two devices.
Micro USB port
CICRET bracelet has a micro USB port to connect to the system for data transfer between the system
and the bracelet. Exchange of information’s could include images, music, document etc.
Proximity sensor(long range)
This sensor is able to detect the presence of nearby objects without any physical contact. A proximity
sensor often emits an electromagnetic field or a beam of electromagnetic radiation (infrared, for instance),
and looks for changes in the field or return signal. The object being sensed is often referred to as the
proximity sensor's target. Different proximity sensor targets demand different sensors. The pico projector
projects the interface to our arm. When you place your finger on your interface, it stops one of the 8 long
range PROXIMITY SENSOR. The SENSOR sends back the information to the processor place in the
CICRET bracelet.

Bluethooth
When internet connection is unavailable the CICRET app and bracelet can be connected via
Bluetooth and also the Bluetooth can be used to exchange data/information to other devices.

Pico projector
It’s technology that applies the use of an image projector in an handheld device. It is a response to
the emergence/development of compact portable devices such as mobile phones, personal digital assistants,
and digital cameras, which have sufficient storage capacity to handle presentation materials but little space
to accommodate an attached display screen. Handheld projectors involve miniaturized hardware and
software that can project digital images onto any nearby viewing surface.

LED
The LED is used to show notifications and is used to show the working of a process.
Snap button
The snap button is a power switch that turns the CICRET bracelet on and off.

Battery
CICRET uses a battery that is to provide 8 hours of lifetime continuously.

Advantages

The important advantage is water proof. For ladies, they worry about ‘missing a call because the
phone was on silent and in the bag’ or having to take out our laptops or phones every time we need
to send an email or a message. It would all be right there on our wrist, at our convenience. It is easy
to access during travelling.

Disadvantages

Depends on surface condition to guarantee a clear picture. Target place must be white.

It is not sure whether it works on black or hairy skin.

Integrated operating system.

No built-in speaker.
Conclusion
The real issue faced by technology is not whether it is completely good or bad whether the
device features is comprehensive enough to meet user’s expectation. The value of money comparing
price, surface problems, integrated operating system and built-in speaker may vary in terms of
importance from one person to another.

Future Work
Developers are planning to make a built-in speaker in cicret bracelet. The French Developers are
planning for Micro SIM so it can act as standalone device.
