NARRATIVE REPORT

I am Eric G. Baay, a bona fide student of Bohol Island State University Bilar-
Campus and a certified member of Pilar United Students Organization or also known as
PUSO in its abbreviation for three years since it was renewed. The said organization
has been working for the past prosperous years before I enrolled in this institution. Last
academic year 2016-2017, I was a second year college, the organization was luckily
opened after two consecutive years of pending in the service. The 4 th year students in
the same school year were conducted a general meeting in the month of June 2016, for
the renewal of the organization and to choose for the next President as well.
Fortunately, I was elected as the new President of the organization together with the
other officers who graduated at the same academic year.

Subsequently, problems came in during the actual scenario of processing the

documents of the application for registration. In such, there were no documents found to
attest the renewal of the organization as one of the requirements during the time of
former Director of Student Affairs and Services, Prof. Narcisa M. Oppus now a retired
professor. I was out of my internal idea to what would be the best solution to accomplish
since the deadline that time was almost ended. I asked help to my senior members
regarding the problem. Thereafter, we were able to finish making another Constitution
and By-Laws of the Organization, calendar of activities and others. Another problem
occurred, we don’t have adviser to stand for our organization because the previous
adviser of the organization was on study leave in the person of sir, Victor M. Balandra a
regular professor in BISU BILAR. The greatest advantage happened when sir Bibiano
Ampon Jr. SSG adviser, consolidated with the presence of sir, Renante Avergonzado,
who was the adviser of San Miguel town organization that time. I secondly approached
ma’am Oppus, the SAS Director if it would be counted that sir Renante Avergonzado
would be our adviser despite of his obligations in the other organization. Happily, ma’am
Oppus considered our concern. In all truth, the organization was recognized during
Acquaintance and Induction Rites in the month of July 2016. We were all glad that the
Campus Director, sir Arnulfo C. Olandria approved the application on our town
organization.

In the month of December 2016, we decided to celebrate our Christmas Party at

Logarita swimming pool with the selected members of PUSO. We enjoyed the moments
being together and the closeness added as we shared our own story to everyone. We
prepared enough foods for our lunch and ended it with a smile in our faces. The party
we had was approved by the Campus. Being the President in the first year was enjoying
and happy while serving my fellow students. I have been serving actively the
organization for three years. Indeed, all of those unforgettable memories in college as a
leader will remain in my hearts. My heartwarming thanks to the institution, for giving me
a priceless opportunity and to the instructors I encountered and dealt with for they are
the reason of growing my skills and confidence to speak in front of many people. To the
administrators who became my inspiration. Lastly,to my co-servants for always there for
me.
