INSTRUCTIONS

1. Attendance record is an important document and almost cares should be taken


while making entries. There should not be over writing, disfiguring, and
incompleteness. Any correction if made should be individually initialed.
2. Attendance be marked in the relevant column noting the date and the period.
3. For uniformity of attendance record, the entries are to be made as cumulative
numerical entries with A mark on the day the student absent.
4. Date of completion of subtopic/topic should be recorded in the space provided in
the teaching plan.
5. At the end of every month the staff will send cumulative attendance report in
percentage up to that period, through Head of Department to the Principal. The
Principal will arrange to intimate the parents of such student whose attendance is
short of the prescribed minimum requirement.
6. Class test marks should be recorded in the relevant column of the class test record
sheet.
7. At the end of the term the percentage of attendance of each student should be
worked out and entered in the relevant column.
8. After checking and endorsing the entries, the Head of Department should forward
the attendance record to the Principal for further action.
9. This attendance record should be handed over to the Head of Department
whenever the staff members go on long leaves or when he leaves college.

Norms for Progressive Theory Test / Class Test :
1. For each subject two class tests of 25 marks each shall be conducted in the Academic
year as per MSBTE schedule. Sum of the total test marks of all subjects is to be
converted out of 50 marks as sessional work (SW).
2. No extra class test shall be conducted for candidates remaining absent on account of
any reason.
3. Class test shall be of one hour duration and test question paper shall be as per MSBTE
pattern.
4. Marks obtained by candidate in each test should be displayed within 10 days on the
notice board.
5. Answer book of class test shall be accessible to students for feedback so as to make
improvement.
6. The answer book of class test shall be preserved till the declaration of consecutive
examination result and shall be produced before EMC.
