Levene's Test of Equality of Error Variancesa

Dependent Variable:TUMOUR

F df1 df2 Sig.

1.415 5 42 .239

Tests the null hypothesis that the error variance of the dependent variable is equal across
groups.

The above table shows that according to Levene’s test, the significance level is greater than
0.05, therefore the overall test is not significant, meaning the over all test indicates that there
is no statistically significant difference between effect of all these drugs on tumor size in
both males and females.

a. R Squared = .572 (Adjusted R Squared = .521)

The above test shows the value of R is 5.2 which means there is a weak correlation.
The value of R close to 1 means a strong correlation.

Based on observed means.

The error term is Mean Square(Error) = 69.494.

*. The mean difference is significant at the .05 level.

The above table shows that effect of 5-fluro uracil is significantly different than both cisplatin and vinblastin
on tumor size in males and females.

Spread-versus-Level Plots

The above graph shows that we have an outlier value at point 40.0 of x axis. If this value was not
there, we might have found a corleation. But because of presence of this value we have a wide
spread of data and there is no corealtion.

7
The above graph shows that 5-flurouiracil (green line) is effective in decreasing the suize of tumors in males and
all three drugs are not effective in females ( blue line).
