1. INTRODUCTION
1.1. General
Petrovietnam Technical Services Corporation, Mechanical and Construction Joint Stock Company (PTSC
M&C) is a Contractor incorporated in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and having its registered office at No.
31, 30/4 Street, Vung Tau City, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, hereinafter referred to as “Contractor”.
Thang Long Joint Operating Company plans to award a contract to Contractor for the detailed engineering,
procurement, fabrication, testing, pre-commissioning and onshore commissioning, load out and sea-
fastening, installation and hook-up (hereinafter referred to as “EPCI”) of two platforms and subsea pipelines
for the development of the Hai Su Trang (“HST”) and Hai Su Den (“HSD”) Fields located in Block 15-2/01
offshore the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The well-stream product from the HST and HSD Fields will be transported to the Te Giac Trang (“TGT”) H1
WHP, located approximately 3.0 km away from the HST platform adjacent Block 16-1, operated by Hoang
Long Joint Operating Company (“HLJOC”). Thereafter, the HST/HSD well-stream will be commingled with
the TGT well-stream prior to delivery to the TGT FPSO, where the commingled TGT and HST/HSD well-
streams will be processed to produce commingled crude oil and commingled export gas.
Under the EPCI contract, Company requires Contractor to subcontract the offshore transportation and
installation of the HST and HSD platforms and the associated infield subsea pipelines to an experienced
offshore installation company, approved by Company. The terms and conditions of the subcontract shall be
‘back to back’ with the EPCI contract between Company and Contractor.
Block 15-2/01 is geologically located in the Cuu Long Basin relative to the South Eastern coastline of the
Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The HST and HSD Fields are about 120 km east of Vung Tau City, and
separated from each other by approximately 9.0 km, refer Figure 1-2 below.
The project includes:
HST Wellhead Separation Platform (WHSP)
HSD Wellhead Platform (WHP)
Three (3) Pipelines approximately 3.0 km long between the HST WHSP and the TGT H1 platform,
comprising:
o One (1) x 16” dia. Production Pipeline
o One (1) x 8” dia. Water Injection Pipeline
o One (1) x 6” dia. Gas Lift Pipeline
Three (3) Pipelines approximately 9 km long including tie-in spools between HSD WHP and the HST
WHSP, comprising:
o One (1) x 10” dia. Production Pipeline
o One (1) x 6” dia. Water Injection Pipeline
o One (1) x 6” dia. Gas Lift Pipeline

position and orientation, survey equipment will identify and continuously
monitor the location of HSD-1x and 5x as reference.
14. Slack the rigging and check the subsea wellhead template levelness by Ref. R130, Section
monitoring the bull eyes on it. 5.3.1
In addition to the bull eye the divers can perform additional level checks with
spirit level in other corner of the subsea wellhead template.
In case of severe out of levelness than subsea wellhead template will be lifted
and divers to recover the out of levelness with additional sand bags or
removing some.

1. Prepare (grind and 100% MPI/UT) top of jacket legs surface for crown shims NDT Procedure
welding.
2. Conduct final jacket levelness survey. Ref. Section 3.3
3. If the level is out of tolerances, determine jacket leg to be lifted and estimate Ref. Section 3.3
jack stroke required to correct the tilt and continue to sequence 4 to 7,
otherwise continue to sequence 8.
4. Carry out the Jacket reading level check and identify the leg or legs to be
lifted.
st
5. Carry out the marking for the 1 cut off for the installation of the transition
pieces.
6. Grind the pile very well starting from the top of leg in order to permit the
slipping of the crown plates during the jacket lifting. The seam weld as well
has to be grinded off.
7. Grind very well the internal part of the crown plates in order to permit the
slipping during the jacking up of the jacket. Smooth the internal upper and
lower internal corner of the crown plated.
8. Install the crown plates in order to match the dimension of the deck after the
installation of the transition pieces. In the way the pile could be not in the
center if the dimension of the deck requires. Put an 2 mm hammered
electrode between the pile and the crown plate. By the hammered electrode
between the pile and the crown plate we can have a gap 0.5 – 1.0 mm
between the pile and the crown plate. So in this way is minimizing the friction
between crown plate – pile during jacking up.
9. Weld the bottom and vertical parts of the crown plates installed in the 2 nos Ref. R13, R18
legs to be lifted.
10. Install the jacking system of the jacket up to foreseen target. Ref. R100
11. Weld the upper part of the crown plates meanwhile will be installed and Ref. R13, R18
welded the crown plates on the remaining 2 nos legs. The crown plates will
be installed bearing in mind the dimension of the deck (as per sequence 9).
12. Release and recover the jacking system.
