Dear Parents, Community Members and Neighborhood Residents,

You are cordially invited to participate in our “Free To Be Me” Evening Summer Camp,
marking our 22nd year of offering this unique, week-long camp to the children of our
neighborhood and church community. This free camp for children, ages 5 to 14, has been a
favorite of the children who look forward to the camp every year. It has also provided a fulfilling
volunteer opportunity to those who enjoy giving their time and talent to make a difference in the
children’s lives. We encourage teenagers to attend for community service hours as they
participate in the program.

This year’s program will be held Monday, August 12th through Friday, August 16th from
4:00pm to 8:00pm providing an end-of-summer break for parents and children. Activities
include: arts and crafts, bible study, Christian character-building and behavioral reinforcement,
and music appreciation. Light dinner will be served daily. We will have a cookout and closing
program celebration on Friday evening at 6pm. Parents, family, neighbors, and friends are all
invited to attend.

Registration for the camp is mandatory and will close on Friday, August 9th by close of
business. Enclosed is a registration form. Please return by either email below, by dropping in
mail slot (158 U St), or by bringing completed form in person with your child by 4pm on
the first day of camp.
