It will take pictures covering an angle approximately twice as wide as that which is considered normal for other cameras, However, this is not to say that the Veriwide picture is abnormal, since you are fully conscious of an area ‘equally large when you look at a scene with your own eyes. The truth is that the “normal” camera gives only a slice of the scene before you, while the Veriwide gives you the whole scene. No longer need you feel that something has been left out. Undoubtedly, you have experienced and enjoyed the spaciousness of the wide-screen picture at your local movie theatre. We suggest that you be pre- pared to be astonished and delighted when you sce your first Veriwide enlargement, particularly if the print is a large one. For professionals the Veriwide 100 is a new kind of tool. It will free you from all the drudgery usually associated with setting up for extreme wide angle shots. You will be enabled to reach for a complete camera, all ready to shoot, just as easily as you formerly reached for the lens alone. The angle covered by the Veriwide 100 is as wide as you can get, and still retain the linear characteris tics of the normal picture. The rectangular shape of the negative is particularly well suited to this kind of work, since it does away with the need for excessive cropping when used with the majority of subjects. Moreover, although the Veriwide 100 is not large as professional cameras go, the negative it furnishes is amply sized, 244 x 344". It is li ough to permit the making of largest size prints with astonishing ease and with amazing retention of detail and quality. The Veriwide 100 will be especially useful to the press, magazine and industrial photographer, indeed anyone who must work fast, yet efficiently. a
