K Determine input and output devices of a computer.
S Differentiate each input and output devices of a computer.
A Share the importance of learning of the input and output
devices as a computer hardware servicing student.

III. PROCEDURE
A. PREPARATION
Motivational Question: When you hear the words “input devices”, what comes into
your mind?
Activity: Share learners’ knowledge about input and output devices.
Analysis: Do you think it is important to learn those devices especially if
you are a computer hardware servicing technician? Why?
B. PRESENTATION
Abstraction: Discussion of the topic.
C. PRACTICE:
Exercises: Group Activity
Application: Discuss to the class the following assigned topic:
Group 1: Input Devices and Two Types of Input Devices
Group 2: Three Categories of Direct Entry Devices
Group 3: Output Devices and Types of Monitor
Group 4: Types of Printer
Group 5: Storage Devices and its Types
IV. ASSESSMENT:
Formative Assessment Evaluate learners’ presentation.

V. ASSIGNMENT/AGREEMENT
Take note of the important information that are presented by
each group. Prepare for a summative test after all the groups
have reported.

Exercises: Group Activity
Application: 1. Start Microsoft Windows. 2. Click Start. 3. Select
Programs from the menu. 4. Select MS PowerPoint 2003.
5. DoubleClick to open the program. 6. Choose Save from
the File menu. Because you're saving the file for the first
time, the Save As dialog box appears. 7. Type the name of
your file--for example, My tutorial--in the File Name box.
XXIV. ASSESSMENT:
Formative Assessment Evaluate learners’ presentation.

XXV. ASSIGNMENT/AGREEMENT
Teacher can observe student following the steps. Student
can save a file to a disk and show the teacher where the
file is. If the student saved text in the file, the student can
print out a copy of the slide.
