Dc Load Total Energy Required Per day:-

EDC = 150*4 + 60*3 + 60*3 = 960 Wh

Ac Load Total Energy Required Per day:-

EAC = 400*0.3 + 800*0.5 + 1000*0.25 = 770 Wh

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------

Inverter Power Rating required to meet AC demand is

Efficiency of Inverter = 85%

S = (400+800+1000)/0.85 = 2588.23 VA

or If Ac load connected one after one the power rating ofinverter required is

S = 1000/0.85 = 1176.47 VA

The above Power rating of inverter indicates inverter should beselected above those ratings
and available in the market. Input DCvoltage to the inverter is 12 V

Battery Sizing:-

Reserve time of Battery = 2 days

Usable battery power = 80%

Battery system losses = 20% i.e efficiency is 80%

Nominal voltage of battery V = 12 V

The Ah of battery required to meet the demand is

Total Energy required by both AC and DC load is

ET = 960 + 770/0.85 = 1865.8823 Wh

Ah = ET/(Nominal Voltage*Usable power*efficiency) =1865.8823/(12*0.8*0.8) = 242.95 Ah

/day

For two days total Ah of battery required is 485.9068 Ah

----------------------------------------------------
No of Solar Modules required to charge battery are

No.of Insolation hours per day = 4

Power rating of panel is P = 150 W

Energy generated from 150 W panel in one day is = 150*4 = 600Wh

Total Energy required is to charge battery is = 485.9068*12= 5830.88 Wh

No.of Solar Modules required is N = 5830.88 / 600 = 9.718 =~10

DC rating of Solar PV system is PDC = 150*10 =1500 W

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------

All Solar Modules should be connected in parallel with ChargeController which control
charging and discharging of battery andVoltage input to battery.

The inverter needs to connect to Battey and DC load can beconnected to charge controller
DC load connector in parallel.
