Recommended Safe Procedure
 Work Permit- Ensure all work permits like
STA, Height work permit and various
Checklist has been verified and authorized
before performing the task.
 JSA Sharing- JSA should be shared with all
the staffs and workers who are involved in
the same task.
 After JSA sharing attendance sheet must
be filled and documented.
 The Supervisor/Engineer and safety
person should be always present at the
site and instruct the workers.
 The Safety person along with the Engineer
should give proper induction training
about the work related things before
starting the task.
 The Safety person should daily instruct
the team member in the tool box meeting
regarding the risk involved in task.
 Inspection of Hand tools as per checklist
like lifting tools / tackles, hammer,
spanner, etc.

 PPE Inspection Physical Hazards  Use of PPES like safety helmet, safety
Goggles, Safety Shoes, Reflective Jackets,
Hand Gloves, safety harness, etc.
 Material shifting to its  All statutory compliances to be done before

tool tie off system to be implemented
 Erection area to be barricaded to restrict
unauthorized entry
 Provide sign boards should be provided
 Deploy skilled and experienced manpower
to perform the height work task
 Inspect boom lift before starting the
activity
 Ensure all boom lift movement area
levelled and compacted
 Before starting the activity road survey to
be carried out
 Ensure all vehicle equipment should be

and column base plate

given to column while positioning
ground level visual inspection to be done by
competent person
 Use anti cut- type hand gloves while fixing
the guy rope
Note:-
1) Barricade the work Area before start the work.
2) Housekeeping should be always before & after the work.
3) Take All Work Permit before starting the work.
4) Use always recommended PPE’s like Helmet, Goggle & Safety shoes and according to work should be use.
5) Organize scheduled training for the workers.
6) Safety Supervisor should be present always while work is going on.
7) All tools and tackles should be certified.
8) Work related Caution Boards should be displayed at the site.
