YG FILE PLATFORM - SAT MATH TUTOR

I. PROJECT OVERVIEW

 SAT MATH Tutors will conduct a 2 hour session using SAT Practice Test given to them.
 SAT MATH Tutors will use the YG File Platform to review the scores, review questions
student had difficulty, review questions took long time to answer, skipped, had a trick or
technique etc.
 Tutors will focus on questions from the Test, providing tips, alternative solving
strategies, highlighting the concept in the context of the question.
 Tutors will encourage smart students to share their approach or technique to reinforce
collaborative learning.
 Tutors use past experience to make the session informative, engaging and helpful in
brand building of the YG File Platform.

We will provide training on YG File Platform and other enrichment sessions for educators as
needed to be successful.

II. GENERAL TUTORING OR TEACHING SKILLS

 Ability to teach students

 Good writing skills (please see below for speaking skills)
 Ability to engage, stimulate interest, capture student attention during the session
 Ability to manage a group of 20-30 students having a mix of high skilled to low skilled
 Good humor is a plus

III. MATH EXPERTISE

 Familiarity with SAT MATH Content.

 Math Profession, Math Passion, Currently Engaged in Math in some fashion
 Familiarity with any math tools - Latex, Geogebra, FxDraw, Excel, Desmos etc (bonus skill
for online / virtual teaching)
IV. ONLINE VIRTUAL TEACHING EXPERIENCE - REQUIREMENTS

 Ability to write Math (Equations, figures, graphs, illustrations) using ONLINE

WHITEBOARD Tools
 Any prior experience with teaching students virtually using a virtual / web-based
platform
 Virtual Classroom skills - write, chat, share only - No Speaking or Audio is necessary

V. IN PERSON / CLASSROOM TEACHING EXPERIENCE - REQUIREMENTS

 Ability to teach in person in a classroom setting

 Fluency in English speaking
 Present requirement is CHARLOTTE, NC, USA (Given Opportunity - Specify which City,
State in USA - you are available for in-person tutoring)
