The hen loved the brave, strong hawk and wishes to marry him.But she said,”I cannot fly as high as you can. If you
give me time, I may learn to fly as high as you. Then, we can fly together.”
The hawk agreed. Before he went away, he gave the hen a ring. “This is to show that you have promised to marry
me,”said the hawk.
So it happened that the hen had already promised to marry a rooster. So, when the rooster saw the ring, he became
very angry. “Throw that ring away at once! Didn ,t you tell the hawk that you,d already promised to marry me?” shouted the
rooster .The hen was so frightened at the rooster anger that she threw away the ring immediately.
When the hawk came the next day, the hen told him the truth. The hawk was so furious that he cursed the hen.
“Why didn,t you tell me earlier? Now, You ,ll always be scratching the earth, and I ,ll always be flying above you to catch
your children,”said the hawk.
The curse seems to have come true.

Once upon a time, King Rock brought his bast knights and soldiers to besiege Vernon castle.
They surrounded the castle for days, traping the Lord Vernon inside.
However, they refused to surrender. They fought hard to defend their castel.
One day, Sir Paul, a brave and courageous knight, put on a disguise and went out of Vernon castle . He
walked stealthily to enter the king’s camp. However, he was discovered by the king’s soldiers. They chased after
him shouting, “A spy!, A spy!”
Sir Thompson, one of the king’s knights, caught him. They fought bodly. Sir Paul tried to run away
quickly to the Vernon castle. However, Sir Thompson could catch up with him again.
Just as he was about stab Sir Paul with his sword, he heard someone screaming, “Please, don’t’t kill
him.”
Looking up, Sir Paul saw a beautiful lady with fair hair. It was his sister, Lady Etvia.
“Both of you are brave knights, “She said. “This war has been fought by brave and chivalrous knights
and soldiers. But, we women and children suffer because there is no food to eat.”
Sir Paul and Sir Thompson looked at one another dumbfounded. They were surprised by what the lady
had said. No one had ever been brave enough to speak to the knights like this. They promised Lady Etvia to tell
their king and King Rock made an agreement. Each of them would choose a knight won, the king would end the
slegr. But if the lord’s knight lost, the king would take over Lord Vernon’s castle and his people must surrender.
Sir Paul was chosen to flight for Lord Vernon and Sir Thompson was choosen for the king.

Both knights were strong and powerful. They fought like two fierce lions in the sun. Suddenly, Sir Paul
struck a blow so strong that Sir Thompson fell to the ground. Vernon’s people cheered while the king’s army
groaned. Sir Thompson bowed his head humbly and prepared himself for death.

The beans are fermented for about a week, dried in the sun an then shipped to the chocolate maker. the chocolate
maker starts by roasting the beans to bring out the flavor. different beans from different places have different qualities and
flavor, so they are often sorted and blanded to produce a distinctive mix. Next, the roasted beans are winnowed. winnowing
removes the meat nib of the cacao bean from its shell. then, the nibs are blended. The blended nibs are ground to make it
a liquid. The liquid is called chocolates liquor. it tastes bitter. all seeds contain some amount of fat, and cacao beans are
not different. However, cacao beans are half fat, which is why the ground nibs form liquid. it’s pure bitter chocolate.

Once upon a time there was a wife of a rich man fell sick, and soon she closed her eyes and
departed. Everyday, Cinderella went out to her mother’s grave, and wept, and she remained pious and
good .When winter came the snow spread a white sheet over the grave, and By the time the spring
sun had drawn it off again, the man had taken another wife. The woman had brought with her into the
house two daughters, who were beautiful and fai of face but vile and black of heart . Since then a bad
time for the poor step-child began.
One day the King gave oders for a festival and all the beautiful young girls in the country were
invited, in order that his son might choose himself a bride.When the two step-sisters heard that they
were to appear among the number, they were delighted, called Cinderella and made to help them
grooming, Cinderella obeyed, but wept, because she too would have liked to go with them to dance,
and begged her step-mother said” you cannot go with us, you have no clothes and cannot dance.
When the step-mother and her daughters had gone away, Cinderella went to her mother’s
grave and cried, Shiver and Quiver, My little tree, silver and gold throw down over me.” Suddenly a
bird trew down a magnificent gold and silver dress to her,and were golden too. At the party her step-
sister and the step-mother however did not recognize her, and thought she must be a foreign princess,
for she looked so beautiful in the golden dress.

Once upon a time there lived a little girl named Snow White. She lived with her aunt and uncle
because her parents were dead.
One day she heard her uncle and aunt talking about leaving Snow White in the Castle because

THE UGLY DUCKLING

It was bight summer day. The wheat fields had turned golden in the warm sun. Around the
wheat fields, there were meadow of green grass. In the midst of the meadows and fields, stood a farm
house. A stream of clean water flowed past the house. In one of those shady spots on the bank the
stream, among a cluster of shrubs and plants, a mother duck sat on her eggs to hatch them.
After a few days the shall began to crack and out game five little duckling looked very pretty.
The mother duck was very happy. She stood up to see if the all eggs were hatched. No, threre was
one large egg-the sixth one that remained unhatched. It’s shell was harder . But mother was
determined to bring every one of her brood into this world.
What a scock she got when the last egg finally cracked . The new bird was very ugly and
much bigger than the others. “It cannot my baby” shouted the mother duck “ I wonder of he is a
turkey !”soon, it seemed that nobody like this duckling. They named him ”Ugly Duckling”. The mother
duck never approved of this rude and treatment.
His bad days had suddenly ended. He was not an ugly duckling after all. Now he changes a
beautiful white swan.
