TOWER BRIDGE.

The Tower Bridge or the Tower Bridge, is a drawbridge that crosses the River Thames and
an iconic symbol of London. Built between 1886 and 1894, it has 244 meters in length,
with two towers of 65 meters high, joined at the upper level by means of two horizontal
walkways. During its construction, more than 70,000 tons of concrete were used in its
enormous pillars and approximately 11,000 tons of steel for the frame of the towers and
the walkways. The central distance between the two towers is divided into two cams,
which can be raised to an angle of 83 degrees to allow the passage of fluvial traffic.

VISITING TOWER BRIDGE

Tower Bridge shows how the bridge's elevation system worked from its
construction until 1976, by means of a steam engine, and its subsequent
