The North-Eastern Hill University , Shillong intends to hire the service of suitable officer for filling up
of 1(one) post of Assistant Engineer (for NEHU, Tura Campus) in the pay Matrix Level – 7 under 7th
CPC on deputation basis initially for a period of one year which may be extended further as per
requirement.

1. Eligibility condition :
Officers of the CPWD/State Government PWD/Semi Government/PSU/Statutory or
Autonomous organisation / Universities holding analogous posts on regular basis
Or
With three years regular service as Junior Engineer of the CPWD/State Government
PWD/Semi Government /PSU/Statutory or Autonomous organization/Universities
possessing a Degree in Engineering(Civil)
Or
With five years of regular service as Junior Engineer of the CPWD / State Government PWD
/Semi Government /PSU /Statutory or Autonomous organisation /Universities possessing
Diploma in Engineering (Civil).
Desirable :
(a) Familiarity with CPWD/PWD norms for preparation /scrutiny of estimates/tenders
including experience in the field of execution of Multi-Storeyed Buildings , roads, water
supply system etc.
(b) Experience in preparation of design/drawings etc. of Building /Roads works using Civil
AUTO CAD and STAAD Pro.
2. Regulation of pay and other terms of deputation :
The pay of the selected candidate will be regulated under the provisions contained in the
DOPT OM No. 6/8/2009-Estt(Pay-II) dated 17.6.2010 as amended from time to time.
3. Age Limit :
The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not be exceeding 56 years as on
the closing date of receipt of applications.
4. Period of Deputation :
Period of deputation shall be initially for one year to be extended for a maximum period of 3
years.
5. Applications of only such officers will be considered which are routed through proper
channel.
6. Application only in the prescribed proforma (Annexure- I ) of the eligible candidates whose
services can be spared immediately on selection may be forwarded so as to reach the
undersigned on or before 31st Janunary, 2019 along with the following documents:-
(i) Integrity certificate
(ii) Major or minor penalty certificate for the last 10 years of his/her service
(iii) Vigilance clearance certificate
(iv) Photocopies of ACRs/APARs for the last 5 years duly attested on each page by a
competent authority.
7. Applications received after the last date or not accompanied with the required documents
will not be entertained.

अिु मानित लागत/निनर्विा की तैयारी सनहत बहु-मांनिला इमारतोां, सड़कोां,
िल आपूनतव आनि के कायव निष्पािि के क्षे त्र में अिु िर्व ।
आ) नसनर्वल ऑट्ो कैि तथा स्टाि प्रो का उपयोग करके इमारतोां/सड़कोां के
कायों की नििाइि/नचत्रकला आनि की तैयारी में अिु िर्व ।
2. प्रवतवनयुक्ति का िे तन विवनयम और अन्य शतत ः
 चयनित अभ्याथी का र्वेति िीओपीट्ी के कायाव लय ज्ञापि सां. 6/8/2009-
स्था(र्वेति-II) नििाां क 17.6.2010 में
निनहत प्रार्विाि के तहत समय-समय पर सांिोनित तथा नर्वनियनमत नकया
िाएगा ।
3. आयु सीमाः
प्रनतनियु क्ति के आिार पर नियु क्ति के नलए अनिकतम आयु सीमा आर्वेिि
प्राक्ति की अां नतम नतनथ के अिु सार 56
र्वर्व से अनिक िहीां होिी चानहए ।
4. प्रवतवनयुक्ति की अिव ः
प्रनतनियु क्ति की अर्वनि प्रारां ि में एक र्वर्व के नलए होगी निसे अनिकतम 3
र्वर्ों के नलए नर्वस्ताररत नकया िाएगा ।
5. उनचत चै िल के माध्यम से िे िे गए अनिकाररयोां के आर्वेिि पर नर्वचार नकया
िाएगा ।
6. नििाव ररत प्रारूप में आर्वेिि (अिु लग्नक-1) निम्ननलक्तित िस्तार्वेिोां सनहत
अिोहस्ताक्षरी को नििाां क 31.01.2019 तक अथर्वा उससे पूर्वव अग्रे नर्त नकया
िा सकता है योग्य अभ्यानथव योां के चयि के बाि उिकी सेर्वाओां को तुरांत घोनर्त
नकया िा सकता है ।
