Penalized on any dangerous play. Give space and time 2. Ruck management : try to help player what can do and don’t in ruck Tackler release ball carrier &move away No play ball on the ground 3. Scrum : Focus on front row engagement by zero tolerance for not straight. Minimize on resetting the scrum and check on any infringement during scrum Proper position Tight as 5 Slow & steady scrum sequence Best position by referee
What worked and what didn't 1) Tackle
(REALITY) Both team was briefly in the pre match about the area of tackle 2 incident high tackle was caught from each team in the match by me & assist by assistant referee I was giving warning for them Every tackle situation I gave time and space for tackler to roll away & ball carrier to present ball 2) Ruck The player still contests the ruck not from gate by side entry Player still play ball on the ground I always want to see the movement immediately from tackler & ball carrier to make sure ball is available to play 3) Scrum 1st scrum I managed slowly to get fair & square scrum Well managed the front row & 2nd row They can hear my sequence on crouch, bind, set. Stand-off play their role on 5 meter away from scrum like I need on my game plan 2 times MACOBA flanker leave scrum early when defend situation and I was penalized it In the 2nd half, the front row of KOBOYS push early because their was tired In this game, the number of scrum is too many due rainy day
