1. Hollow Knight sacrifice himself to stop the infection from spreading.

Why the Hollow Knight?

Hollow Knight are created by the King to stop the infection “no cost to great”.
The king and the void (shadow) make the hollow knight

What characteristics does he required for him to be choose?

Being empty, “no will to break” and no “voice to shout”

How does he being in chains stops the infection?

As he was supposed to be empty the infection doesn’t has a way to control him. So if he fails to
control him he has to has “something” inside him. Maybe he got a bond with the King?

Why the hollow knight fails?

Wyrms are ancient creatures that are all gone.

One of the wyrms didn’t die he transformed into the pale king.

Before the pale king create he´s kingdome , hollownest was divided withng other powerfull
being. One of them was the Radiance, the antagonist and creator of the moths. The moths
abandone her when the pale king arrived.
