Course Contents:
1. Introduction to power electronics concept, electronic switches, circuit simulation
2. Power computations, energy recovery, effective (RMS) value, power computations for non-sinusoidal waveforms
3. Diodes and uncontrolled rectifiers, half and full wave, single phase and three phase rectifiers
4. Thyristor and controlled rectifiers, half and full wave, single and three phase controlled rectifiers
5. AC voltage controllers, Three phase voltage controllers
6. DC/DC converters; Buck, boost, buck-boost and cuk converter
7. DC/AC inverters; single and three phase full bridge PWM inverters, multilevel inverters
