 I`m going to show you how the mobile phone technology has been developed.
 In the early days people didn`t have the facility to carry their own mobile phone like you.
 So that they wanted to have a better communication via mobile phones especially in military
activities.
 Purpose of inventing a mobile phone was to provide Telephone access “anytime, anywhere.”
 In today’s world anyone can buy a latest mobile phone at a low cost.
 Concept of smart phone has changed the world. You can have the opportunity to access the
information much faster by using a smart phone. Remember now you are in a era where the
information plays a major role In your day to day activities.
 Now we have 4G mobiles in the market which enables faster internet access with LTE
technology.

 Let`s look at the history. Do you know the mobile phone technology is a combination of
radio signals and telephone? We all know who invented the radio as same as telephone.
 When talking about the history of mobile phones we cannot neglect Martin Cooper he
contributed a lot. He created the first mobile phone in 1973.
 And Company that sold them was Motorola.

 You can see the diagram here. It shows you how the system is working. When you make
a call, Signals are transmitting to your nearest base station and then signals will be
retransmitted to the station where your receiver lives via the towers.

Generations
It is important to know the mobile generations because it shows how the transformation has
taken place with the advancement of the technology.

It starts with the Analog mobiles. There were no advanced features in it. Only thing you can do
with a analog mobile phone is to have a telephone conversation with another.
