Department of Agriculture The construction and upgrading of farm-to-
(DA) market roads is one of the priority
infrastructure interventions of DA with
significant impact in improving mobility,
increasing agricultural productivity, and
reducing losses by Filipino farmers. The DA
downloads the budget to DPWH for specific
LGU FMR project approved by DA. The
project is then contracted by the DPWH to a
private contractor. The law allows for the
recruitment by the contractor of workers
who are residents of the LGU where the FMR
project. The LCE has the platform to enforce
the recruitment of the local residents and set
the criteria for inclusion of the workers from
disadvantaged families.
Department of Agriculture SAAD is a project by DA that aims to alleviate
(DA) poverty among workers in the farming and
fisheries sector through the provision of
livelihood interventions and agricultural
inputs for increased farm productivity.
SAAD targets farmers and fisherfolk from 30
poorest provinces in 8 regions all over the
country.
Department of Agriculture Provision of agricultural support services to
(DA) farming households is a regular undertaking
of the local government unit together with
the Department of Agriculture. The
agricultural inputs provided assist the
farmers during crop seasons and provide

5. Project Convergence on Department of Agrarian Project ConVERGE is an agribusiness

Enhancement for Rural Agrarian Reform that aims to help rural

7. Community-Managed Department of Agrarian CPWASH aims to improve the water supply

(CPWASH) Reform Communities (ARCs) by providing
low-cost, culturally acceptable, and
appropriate WASH technologies that can be
managed by the community. Such
technologies are in the form of iron removal
and bio-sand filters as water treatment
facilities, bio-gas digester septic tanks, rain-
water collector, and spring gravity flow
system for bio-fuel and sanitation.
8. Kasaganahan Sa Philippine Coconut The KAANIB project consists of the provision

9. Pantawid Pamilyang Department of Social Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) is

particularly of children aged 0-18 years old.
Patterned after the conditional cash transfer
scheme implemented in other developing
countries, the Pantawid Pamilya provides

they comply with the set of conditionalities
required by the program.

The SLP is implemented through the
Community-Driven Enterprise Development
Approach which equips program participants
to actively contribute to production and labor
markets by looking at available resources and
accessible markets.
11. DOLE Integrated Department of Labor and DILEEP is implemented by DOLE to contribute
Livelihood and Employment (DOLE) to poverty reduction and reduce the

agribusiness, information technology, health
and wellness, wholesale and retail trade,
tourism, etc.) and DTI priority products (i.e.
food processing, cacao, coffee, coco coir,
wearable and home styles).
12. Gulayan sa Paaralan Department of Education DepEd implemented the Gulayan sa Paaralan
Program (GPP) (DepEd) to address the problem of malnourishment
among children in schools, supporting the
hunger mitigation initiatives of the
government. DepEd instructed the
establishing of school gardens in public
elementary and secondary schools to ensure
continuous supply of vegetables for the
School Based Feeding Program (SBFP).

13. Sagana at Ligtas na Department of Interior and SALINTUBIG is implemented by DILG to
Tubig Para sa Lahat Local Government (DILG) pursue its national water commitments
(SALINTUBIG) expressed in the Philippine Water Supply
Sector Roadmap and the Philippine
Development Plan by ensuring access to safe,
clean, and potable water. The project aims to
reduce the incidence of waterborne illnesses
which may cause detrimental effects to the
nutritional status of members of food
insecure and nutritionally vulnerable
households
