OVERVIEW 
The following proposal is issued to ​Jan Robinson​. The scope of work includes execution of two 
full functioning websites: brand messaging/architecture, photos, service offerings, blog/case and 
study space.   

YOUR WEBSITE PLATFORM 

There are a number of options to use for your CMS (content management system). Web design 
projects are based on the balance of code and design time necessary to execute the project. 
Here are the specs for your current site:

GOALS 
My skill set represents solutions to the myriad roles I’ve played in: branding, design, web 
development, SEO and PR/social media. Below I have outlined a list of my offerings for your 
specific design project- as a key​ ​I have divided my tasks into time, represented as ​I​ for initial 
time that it will take, ​and ​R​ for the revision time that it will take ​to make two ​revised drafts​ of 
the site at no additional charge. Some of the goals we would like to develop for your website

LANDING PAGE PROJECT

I start my design process off with a moodboard, showing you examples of your competitors, and 
other sites doing landing pages well. After you have reviewed the sites, sharing feedback of the 
parts you like, I will come up with two different design directions to choose from.

Total Hours | BASE 20​ hours at the long-term rate of $55/hr for additional SEO support

Total Hours | 20 hours with, 15 hours at a discounted rate of $20/hr (PREPAID - covers the 
website build, ​does not cover additional technical support, such as SEO, Social Media, etc.​). 

SPECIFICATIONS 
Pricing Structure  
I start my design process off with a moodboard, showing you 5 different websites your 
competitors are using, and how you might want to approach your own website. After you have 
reviewed the sites, sharing feedback of the parts you like we will arrive 
at the process, outlined above in the ​goals section​.  

The total 20 hour project totals $1,100 at the normal rate. However, 
under our mentoring work-exchange agreement ​you will receive a 
version of the services outlined that includes a brief list of 
competitors’ websites, one initial build direction, and 10 hour 
revision time. 
​(For additional SEO support, the total project amount will accrue and addiontal total price). 
Forms of payment can be made in the form of a check, or​ Venmo​ (preferred). You may find 
my Venmo account information on the image at the right in the previous page (if you have 
any trouble with this, I’d be happy to discuss additional options that work for you).

I charge a flat fee of $100/hour at the expedited level.  

MILESTONES 
The following outlines the primary schedule for the web design build. Additional SEO support will 
be on-going, and will involve up to three months support with tracking and analytics to measure 
your ROI.  

July ​7/15-22 
Web design​: Logistics: website login credentials. Basic brainstorm of site direction. Focus on 
moodboard development, a web website competitive analysis for possible directions.  

July ​7/22-29 
Web design​: Design build time, revision.  

August ​8/1-8 
Web development​: Template development- I will share three different home page directions that 
will determine the final creative approach to the site’s aesthetic. Launch.
