INTRODUCTION
Medical marijuana is the most valuable medicine in the world but having an annually
using and taking this medicine can cause addiction. It may cause diseases and illness
by annually taking the medicine. From using marijuana there is an advantage and
disadvantages. One of the advantages of taking marijuana is it can treat glaucoma, also
Marijuana refers to the dried leaves, flowers, stems, and seeds from the Cannabis
sativa or Cannabis indica plant. The plant contains the mind-altering chemical THC and
other similar compounds. Extracts can also be made from the cannabis plant. (National
It’s hard enough being a teenager under the best of circumstances. Mix in the effects of

This study is all about the cause an effect of marijuana to teenagers. Marijuana have
“Depending on the quantity, quality and method of consumption, marijuana can produce
immediate. When ingested in food, it takes much longer, even hours, for the drug to
signal the brain to release the dopamine.” (National Institutes of Health, 2018)
Marijuana over activates parts of the brain that contain the highest number of these
receptors. This causes the "high" that people feel. Other effects include: altered senses
(for example, seeing brighter colors), altered sense of time, changes in mood, impaired,
hallucinations (when taken in high doses), delusions (when taken in high doses),
psychosis (when taken in high doses). (National Institute on Drug abuse, 2018)
Marijuana also affects brain development. When people begin using marijuana as
teenagers, the drug may impair thinking, memory, and learning functions and affect how
the brain builds connections between the areas necessary for these functions.
Researchers are still studying how long marijuana's effects last and whether some
Anxiety leaves a teenager feeling tense and restless. This overwhelming sense of worry
makes focusing on daily activities strenuous. Given these conditions, it’s easy to see
why a child might be tempted to light up a joint and try to puff away their stress. If only it
Marijuana’s effects—both mental and physical—are partly responsible for its checkered
legal status. Short-term effects can include euphoria or other mood changes, heightened
Despite years of research on marijuana and its effects on the human body, significant
gaps in the literature exist. The gaps range from the true medicinal benefits of the drug
(which vary widely from study to study) to the physical effects on learning, memory, and
social integration. This study will explore the correlation between marijuana cause and
its effects among teenagers. Many teenagers try marijuana and some use it regularly.
Teenage marijuana use is at its highest level in 30 years, and today’s teens are more
likely to use marijuana than tobacco. Many states allow recreational use of marijuana in
adults ages 21 and over. Recreational marijuana use by children and teenagers is not
legal in anywhere in the United States. Today’s marijuana plants are grown differently
than in the past and can contain two to three times more tetrahydrocannabinol (THC),
the ingredient that makes people high. The ingredient of the marijuana plant thought to
have most medical benefits, cannabidiol (CBD), has not increased and remains at about
