REQUEST

The Gaigo International students will finish their core material for this trimester next month.

As they have technically completed their program and studied well, it would be fantastic for
them to be rewarded by teaching them by using a different approach. It is believed that
excursions and socialization act as catalyst to think outside the box and broaden their outlook. It
is a great way to incorporate fun and enthusiasm beyond the four walls of the classroom.

Therefore, I would like to propose different activities and excursions as indicated below:

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Thursday 8th of August 1st period TEST CORRECTION

2nd period NORMAL CLASS

Thursday 22nd of August 1st period EXCURSION

2nd period FOOD PARTY (all classes)

Thusday 29th of August 1st period CINEMA IN MAIN PLACE

2nd period CINEMA IN MAIN PLACE

Thursday 5th of September 1st period KARAOKE IN THE MAIN ROOM (all classes)
2nd period GOODBYE PARTY (all classes)

Watching a movie in English could bring them to not only encourage their listening skill, but to
talk freely in English to their teacher in a different environment. I reckon that the students should
be able to go there on their own. However, if Gaigo's rules require the teachers to bring the
students there, it will be followed. Obviously, it will be notified to the students that any absents
will be reported.

Moreover, it will be interesting to mix all the classes together for their last day before their
holiday. This event could be held in the main room. The rule would be to try to speak only
English as much as possible to enhance their skill and push them to communicate in a 'real-life
event'. The teachers (and Gaigo's staff, if they are willing to join) could supervise and encourage
the students by going to each group and conversing with the participants using English.

In addition, switching teachers could help the students to interact differently, observe different
teaching methods and hear different accents. It could be a great experience for them.

I greatly appreciate taking this request into consideration.

Warm regards,

Cyrielle IHA
