Durungao Elementary School received the School-Based Feeding Program for the 2019-2020 school year. Various committees were organized to implement the program, including a Bids and Awards Committee, Cooking Committee, Attendance Committee, and Cleaning Committee. The School Head emphasized the roles of parents and committee chairs. The SBFP Core Group finalized the menu, scheduled parents, identified beneficiaries, and trained parents on recording and reporting. Proper eating habits were observed during implementation, such as handwashing and cleaning up after eating. recipients of School-Based Feeding Program for this School Year 2019-2020. The Feeding program was started through Review on the Operational Guidelines and conducted orientation to the stakeholders. Different committee were organized such as BAC, Cooking Committee, Attendance Committee and Serving and Cleaning Committee. The School Head emphasized the roles and function of parents and chairman of different committee. The SBFP Core group did their task from the beginning up to the end of the feeding program. Through their collaborative efforts, they were able to finalize the Cycle menu and the schedule of parents, identify the beneficiaries and train some parents to do the recording and reporting. During the implementation, proper eating habits were observed among the beneficiaries-handwashing, tooth brushing, proper using of feeding paraphernalia, praying before and after eating and leaving the feeding area clean and orderly. The food production in school was also given emphasis like in Gulayan sa Paaralan and the SBFP fund.
