Introduction

Vodafone Plc is a British multinational telecommunication network with headquarter in London


and Newbury,Berkshire. The company was founded in 1982 as a joint venture and the name was derived
from the newly found company’s goal of both voice and services over telephone network. Vodafone
India was the Indian subsidiary of UK based Vodafone group plc and was provider of telecommunication
services in India with it’s operational head office in Mumbai. As of march 2018, Vodafone India had a
market share of 21% with approximately 223 million subscriber and was the second largest mobile
telecommunication network after Airtel. Market line premium company strategy report in depth
