Student Council
The student Council at Jammu has shouldered the
responsibility of promoting student interests and
welfare, taking care of students' issues and grievances
and acts as a representative for the batch. The council
aims to lead the fraternity towards a bright future by
creating leaders out of them, who shall bear the Name
of IIM Jammu and cruise ahead Forever Strong.
Sports Committee
Competitive Sports not only helps in fitness but also inculcate
important traits of being a leader such as thriving in stressful
environment, time management, strategy and other
management skills. Sports committee helps in organizing
occasional sports events to inculcate the above traits and
overall development of students. It also encourages students to
represent IIM Jammu by participating in inter-college sports
events.

IIC works to establish corporate relations with IIM Jammu. It
organizes guest lectures, leadership talk and work hand-in-
hand with Placecom to establish a name for IIM Jammu in
Indian industry environment.

Management studies are not a cup of tea for anyone. It does
test you in every aspect. To break the monotony of
management studies, to come out of shell, to shed the
inhibition students do need a stage and we provide it. The
role of Cultural committee is to keep the environment of
campus alive by organizing entertaining events and
celebrating cultural diversity of our beautiful campus.

The placecom acts as an interface between IIM Jammu and
industry by facilitating placements for the students. Together
with the Industry Interaction Cell, the placecom works
towards organizing industrial visits, interactions and guest
lectures. Eminent personalities are invited to interact with

IIM Jammu, aims to portray a splendorous image of the
Institute by promulgating the events and the activities which
are mainstream to its culture. The branding and marketing of
IIMJ, comes under its realm, which is effectuated via Digital
and Social Media. It, also aspires to forge long term,
synergistic relations with the corporate and the media world
by the virtue of networking and socializing.

The social responsibility cell of IIM Jammu lays its emphasis
on the continuous amelioration of the society. Our vision is to

The Academic Committee is the student community's
voice in all the matters pertaining to academics. It acts a
mediator between the students and the faculty. The
