Test Procedure: Code Loading Meter
Precautions:-
1. ESD precautions required.
2. Do not touch PCB with bare hands.
3. Soldering irons should be isolated with MAINS
4. Phase Neutral wires of IRU should be kept loose (should not be inserted in
socket), and should NOT be connected to any power source while the
programmer is connected on the board
Visual Testing: -
Inspect the assembled PCB for open / short / dry solder joints /Proper
Cleaning/Long leads, etc.
.
Meter Testing Stage:
Precautions
2. ESD precautions required.
3. Avoid loose connection.
4. Do not touch PCB with bare hands.
5. Meter handling to be carefully.
6. PCB should be cleaned
Calibration:
1. Connect Phase & Neutral wire at P & N fingers.
2. Choose voltage 240 V (ac) and switch on power supply.
3. After 5 sec. of LED D5 glow on, short the jumper JP5 for (1 sec min) if LED D5
glows off means calibration is done ok.

Test Procedure
1. Increase the input voltage slowly above 240 V.
2. Relay will disconnect at the voltage 380 +/-50Volt making a cutting sound.
3. Decrease the voltage below the cut off voltage (~ 330 V) and wait for 4 seconds for the
relay to connect.
4. It will connect making a sound in 4 seconds after it gets sufficient voltage enough to
operate efficiently if not connected then check calibration or programming.
