Hello Parents/Guardians:

I’m so excited to meet you! It‘s an honor to have the privilege to serve your child/children as their 5th
grade English teacher. I started with Computer Science at Wallace Community College where I received
an associate degree in Computer programming. Soon I became married, and our family grew bountifully.
We will celebrate our 13th anniversary this December. As a new addition, I warm-heartedly welcome
you like family because you are now my family.

I received a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Troy University and I’m currently in Grad school.
Although I’ve shared different fields of interest from programming, cosmetology, Verizon’s Tech support
to being an at home wife and mother, there was one thing still missing. It was my purpose in life. Having
a solid foundation in the church including serving as a youth teacher for nine years along with substitute
teaching, led me to my calling. The road of life may have many obstacles but use them as stepping
stones. Since I’ve embarked on my purpose, I am determined to help your child/children build bridges to
their dreams by promoting learning as fun and limitless.

There’s no secret that I love people and the ability to learn. Each one of us is a walking book, and we are
very own author. I strongly encourage you to READ with your child/children, READ to your
child/children, and listen to them READ. I’m confident that by working as a team, your child’s will be
reached. Remember never to give up, speak positive/good words, and give correction in love as needed.
You have someone precious that’s about to shock the world of the amazing achievements that they are
going to accomplish in Mrs. Franklin’s class!

Cow, and Uptown Columbus grubs.
 Stores: Dollar General, Wal-Mart, and Target
 Hobbies: Summer literacy programs, cooking,
writing/playwriting, reading, creating games, art/crafts, &
fun with my family
