The XDT instrument is an array acoustic wave measuring instrument

independently developed by COSL. The monopole and dipole waveforms can

be measured, and the P-wave, S-wave, and Stoneley waves can be extracted,
and the anisotropic analysis and the fast and slow shear wave extraction can
be performed by using the dipole four-component data.

Techlog is highly compatible with array acoustic data and can handle 26
instrument types, including Schlumberger’s SonicScanner and DSI,
Halliburton’s WaveSonic, and Baker’s XMAC. When the XDT data is processed
by Techlog, it can also meet the requirements of customers through the
existing intelligent wizard.

1. Convert the XDT array sound wave data into DLIS through other software
to load the data;

2. Load the loaded data by right-clicking Create a filter, then filter out the
well, open the CNOOC_XDT_Rename (click the name to download) script,
run;
3. Click on Geophysics-Data Preparation to generate a new dataset. All
waveform data has been renamed to Techlog standard name, WF_MPS_FAR
far monopole data, dipole data (WF_XX, WF_XY, WF_YX, WF_YY);

4. Since the data acquisition parameters are lost due to data conversion and
reloading software, you need to execute the CNOOC_XDT_PropertyChange
(click the name download) script to add the waveform properties. Please
confirm the parameters collected by the instrument (generally fixed) of);

5. After the above operation, the data preparation is completed, and the
monopole waveform data is as shown in the figure below.

6. Then use the Geophysics-Delta-T Wizard and the Anisotropy Wizard for
sonic extraction and anisotropy analysis.
