 The Research Congress 2016 is an annual event organized by San Ildefonso
College Tanay, Rizal This Academic Year, it will be held on February 18-19, 2015. The
theme is "Institutional Multi-Sectoral Assembly"

The congress provides an opportunity for researchers, educators and students to

disseminate their research outputs. It is also a venue for discussion, exchange of ideas,
as well as finding partners for future collaboration.

PART I

(February 18,2016)

 The College Department of San Ildefonso College was held a research congress

wherein different speakers talked about their research. On the first part the

speaker is Msgr. Pedro C. Canonero his talked is all about “The Understanding

about the Mortal Sin”. He said there are two type of sins the first one is “mortal

sin” and the “venial sin”. He also said that we should know or we are aware about

the mortal sins in today’s life.

 The Outcomes Based Education is talked by Dr. Evangeline M. Macaso the dean

of college in San Ildefonso. This is all about the needs of the learners. This is all

about what students needs in terms of learning and the teacher must know what

their student needs in learning. The students must be active and they need to

continue assessment for their knowledge to acquire to them. This is all about the

learners active participation and their needs in the learning.

 Fr Noeh E. Elnar the parish priest of San Ildefonso talked about the “Corruption

of Moral Sin”. He focused in the morality. Morality means a quality of character

to know what is right and wrong. This means good action, those actions that are

in conformity with God’s will and His commandment. Fr.Noeh also said that we

love God, but we also keep in sinning.

 After Fr.Noeh, Dr. Macaso talked about the SRA (Science Research Associates

Reading Laboratory Program). This is all about the reading program conduct

here at San Ildefonso College. It is all about the reading skills. It is the reading

program of the grade school department. It said that reading teacher should be

patient enough. SRA should be oriented in the use of reading materials. Science

Research Laboratory Program (SRA) is the classroom classic that complements

any core reading program. This s the feature of SRA it is easy to manage

approach for students in grade K-12 and enhance you vocabulary. SRA is all

about reading skills.

 After giving Dr.Macaso an idea and knowledge about SRA Maam Juana C.

Paclita grade school coordinator gives responses about the topic of SRA.

She said here that SRA is easy to manage approach for student in grade K-12.It

provides individualized institution to an entire classroom of readers at different.

This includes simples placement test to initiate the program. SRA is also self-

directed reading materials and skills exercises are color-coded by reading level.

 The next speaker that morning is Mr.Joel Javiniar his talked is all about
