EMAS as a knowledge partner of SGVU recognizes the credits earned by the student as a part of
their MBA program undertaken with SGVU. As a result, students do not have to appear for the
common subjects twice. The credits earned in such subjects will be considered for EMAS - PGP
program. Students have to complete only 2 modules specific to EMAS to earn the PGP certification.

Learning Methodology for Dual Certification

Course Material:

For MBA Program student receives hard copy of books and Access to Learning Management System

MBA Course Conduction

The Program is a blended course which has synchronous as well as asynchronous components of
learning resources.

The course is delivered through the Learning Management System wherein the students would get
access to the learning resources and also attend the online sessions as per the delivery schedule as
published on the website.

Assignments:

After submitting all the activities for every chapter of the subject, the student gets the access for the
Assignments which are based on complete subject.

Each subject has 2 separate assignments.

(15 Marks x 2 Assignments – Total 30 Marks)

Assignment Questionnaire would be uploaded on the University website for every subject.
Assignment Response Sheet provided to every student along with study material.

Students should submit that assignment response sheet before the examinations as per
declared timelines. The assignments would be a mix of Subjective and MCQ based questions

Passing criteria in assignment is 40% (Each Assignment) Assignment have 30% weightage in
Assessments

Examinations:

Examinations are tentatively conducted between 15th – 30th January and July. Student can
attempt examinations twice a year only.

Exams are conducted at exam centers deputed by the University.

Exam fees for first attempt is included in Program fees.

The examination consists of a mix of Subjective and MCQ based questions

The student can give backlog examination for previous semester if any, in the next exam cycle or
with the fresh subjects of the subsequent semester.

Examination duration is 2 hours. Passing marks are 40%

Examination Fees are non-transferable and non-refundable

Students who have past due payments or any pending document as required by the university
will not be allowed to give their examinations

The results would be declared within 3 months from the date of examination is conducted. Any
changes in same would be communicated to the students.

Exams have 70% weightage in Assessments. Students would need to acquire average 46% in
every subject as an overall passing criteria.

PGP Based Modules & Assessments
The scores of the common subjects from MBA are accepted by EMAS Business School. The
students need not re-attempt the assessment for the same subject again for PGP Certification.

Student should receive the LMS access for EMAS modules for course conduction

Two modules of PGP needs to be completed by the students in 4th semester of the MBA program

The said modules would have online MCQ based assessments along with project based assess-
ments for which the guidelines would be provided by EMAS.

Students need to complete the said assessments within the timelines as per guidelines of EMAS

EMAS follows grading system in assessing the students.

Admission Process:

Student needs to fill both the admission form and submit the following document to the counsellor

Both the Admission Forms (SGVU and EMAS) duly filled and signed by the student (Need
Colour Scan Copy)

Photo Id / Aadhar Card (Need Colour Scan Copy)

10th Std Mark Sheet (Need Color Scan Copy)

Passport Size Photo (Need Colour Scan Copy)

12th Std Mark Sheet (Need Color Scan Copy) OR 3 Year / Semester Wise Mark sheets of
Polytechnic Diploma (Issued by Board of Technical Education) (Need Color Scan Copy)

All Year / Semester Mark Sheets of Degree Program undertaken from recognized university
(Need Colour Scan Copy)

Degree Certificate (Need Colour Scan Copy)

Name Change Document (Current Name should be as per 10th Std Mark sheet – If name is
different) - Notarized Affidavit on Stamp Paper (Need Colour Scan Copy) - If Name on Degree
Mark Sheets / Any Document submitted does not match student's 10th Std Mark Sheet. (Need
Color Scan Copy)

Affidavit Document, if any as required by University (Case to Case Basis - Connect with your
Counselor)

Fees Receipt along with above documents.

Note: Specialisation chosen for MBA would be same as specialisation provided for PGP. This is
a dual certification program and not a dual specialisation program.
