9-Acacia Mrs.Albag KING ARTHUR: The story of King Arthur wins the sword and Slays the Giant was a very nice and exciting story. It talked about the start of the life of King Arthur wherein he was given as a reward to the wish of a magician, Merlin. One day a tournament was held to know who the king should be. The tournament was through a contest in which everyone could join and try to pull the sword from the stone. King Arthur, without knowing anything about the tournament, pulled the sword from the stone and gave it to his brother Sir Kay. Sir Ector asked Sir Kay who was the one who successfully pulled out the from the stone he answered King Arthur from then on he was regarded as the King of England. In the next part King Arthur set sail to Rome. When he arrived in France, there was a shepherd who informed King Arthur that there was a giant who just seized the Duchess of Brittany and had carried her away. Then King Arthur set on a mission to slay the giant. What was striking of it was that he wanted to do it alone and just told his knights to wait for him at the foot of the mountain. After his victory He said “Give Thy Thanks to God.”
