Main Aims:
 By the end of the lesson learners will have developed their vocabulary by understanding and using a set of
lexical items related to the movements of animals (A bird can....., but it can’t...... run, fly, swim, jump,draw,
sing, climb ).
Subsidiary Aims:
 By the end of the lesson learners will have had the opportunity to practise speaking by talking about what
movement can animals make.
Anticipated problems:
1. Learners might not be able to form sentences correctly.

of the lesson and to sentences in Ss’ notebooks.

Practice  T divides the class into pairs.T gives each pair a memory game and tells 14 min/
that they have to turn the cards upside down.One player turns up two S-S
Oral restricted cards and checks it if they are pairs. If they are pairs , he says an
affirmative sentence and puts them apart. If they are not pairs, he says a
practice: to focus on negative sentence and puts them back upside down.The player who has
form and more pairs is the winner.
