ASTM A307 is the standard specification for carbon steel bolts, studs, and threaded rods of 60000 PSI
tensile strength in sizes from ¼ inch to 4 inches in diameter. Viha Steel manufacturing these A307 bolts
in two grades, A and B.
Types of ASTM A307 Bolts

Grade A – headed bolts, threaded rods and bent bolts with a minimum tensile strength of 60 ksi for a
wide range of general-purpose applications.

Grade B – heavy hex bolts and studs with a tensile strength of 60 to 100 ksi for flanged joints in piping
systems with cast iron flanges.
