Alexandria
The Library of Alexandria. One of the largest and most significant
libraries of the ancient world.

Nowadays we spend less time on reading but more on social media.


Books and the habit of reading seems to be left behind by ourselves
because of our smartphone.

Maybe a place for us to read and explore, with some good coffee?

Used book is another main feature of Alexandria. We could collect


used books from our customer and to update our titles.

Background

Seva Physiotherapy Sports Injury and Acupuncture Clinic has been


in operation since 2004, and is located in the heart of Kitsilano,
Vancouver. It is owned and operated by Peter McClean, Registered
Physiotherapist since 1987 and his business partner Jill Renowitzky
an accomplished physiotherapist with over a decade of experience.
As two industry experts, Peter and Jill are dedicated to providing
the highest level of Physiotherapy treatment in Vancouver.

Seva physiotherapy clinic specializes in: general physiotherapy,


acupuncture, IMS physiotherapy & treatment, orthopaedic
rehabilitation, sport injury, spinal and peripheral joint manipulation,
manual therapy, TMJ dysfunction, vestibular rehabilitation, orthotics
and massage.

Client Requirements
Currently have 2 rooms for massage therapy, 4 rooms for physiotherapy,
need 2 more rooms for physio.

Rooms need to be fully enclosed with solid walls, curtains are not
acceptable.

Gym space could be sacrificed, but it would be better to have the gym
at front with natural light.

Treatment room need to have a treatment bed and enough space for
therapist to move around.

A sink in the general area is important, because the therapists need to


wash their hands before and after they give treatments to the clients.

Background
The Pavilosta Poet Huts architecture competition is tasking
participants with delivering designs for residences for visiting poets.
The key function of the complex would be to offer free residence to
selected poets where they could live and work for a defined period
of time.
