DESIDERATA

The central idea of the poem "Desiderata" written by Max Ehrmann is to motivate

every human and to have a positive outlook in their life-- current and future endeavors.

The world where we are standing in is not as steady and subtle as what we thought, it is

shaking and have lots of fault towards the epicenter. The poem tries to change the

perception of every human on how the world works at its own pace. Max Ehrmann advises

readers to follow certain guidelines and principles that would help them to be blissful and

productive in life ahead. He states that you should believe and love yourself first before

others as you can only save yourself from the abyss of problems that you may dive into.

Be who you are and be content what kind of person you are. It is merely impossible to

live with your own, so it is better to communicate to others-- listen and understand what

they are trying to impose. As they say "no man is an island" you cannot survive without

the help of others. Though it is crucial to live and have peace in this abode with an adverse

circumstances but try to dwell without ceasing and less caring; be thoughtful. "Desiderata"

offers a simple set of values, advices and morals which are capable of making life more

happier than it should be. Perhaps, it is a canonical dogma that conceives every obvious

and usual motion of humans. It is a pragmatic advise that can be easily follow and applied.
QUICKSAND

Life is like a quicksand,

The greater moves you exert

The higher chances that you'll be pulled down

But the lesser you move

The easier you'll be pulled up.

Life is eccentric in some ways

We don't know what may come

And it's not easy to be undone

Don't be too proud for what you have done

For it will cost you to be gone

Life is not static

It's on constant change as the time passes

Enjoy what you have reaped now

Because later on you'll probably can't sow

For life is full of uncertainty and sorrow

A storm of misery may come

But never forget that He will also come

Always remember that amidst agony

Afterwards there will always be a ray of tranquility

Prepare for a journey

Ride on your own boat

Cover yourself with your own coat

And never tried to gloat

Remember what's in your note

For it will help you to succeed to float
