    Bank Branch Operations

    Situation
    This application model was developed to analyze the critical service elements of a bank:

    ·0 Walk-Up ATM
    ·1 Drive-Through ATM
    ·2 Drive-Through Tellers
    ·3 Walk-In Tellers
    ·4 Walk-In Loan/New Account Service Representatives

    Customers arrive based on three different customer arrival patterns or cycles. The quantities of
    each customer type can be experimented with using the Scenario Manager from the Simulation
    Menu.

    Each of the resources in the model were assigned a unique work shift. Statistics such as % In Use
    for each of the scheduled resources can be viewed in the output module.

    By running the scenarios in this model, you will see the effect that adding resources has, in
    addition to what can happen if we change the cost of equipment or resources.
