Zumba Contest
Mechanics:
1. The Zumba Dance competition is open to all Grade 7 to 10 students of Hermenegilda F. Gloria
Memorial High School.
2. ALL STUDENTS per section are REQUIRED to join the said contest.
3. The Zumba dance music must only last for 4 to 6 minutes per group.
4. Succeeding extra minute/s to the dance and the music will have a demerit of five (5)points for
every minute to the group’s total score.
5. Props and accessories are allowed but not flammable or flaming materials.
6. Failure to come in the contest venue and adhere to the contest rules and regulations will mean
disqualification of the participants. They will only be given five (3) minutes grace period after
the starting time and ending time.
7. The decision of the panel of judges is FINAL AND IRREVOCABLE.
8. Three winners (Champion, First runner-up and Second runner-up)

1. Synchronization - 20%
2. Stamina/Power/Energy - 20%
3. Timing/Coordination - 20%
4. Projection/Passion - 20%
5. Appropriateness of ZUMBA Dance - 20%
