RATIONALE:

Cooking oil is an everyday use. It is commonly use for frying and more. After every use, it is
just thrown away. So the researchers comes up to an idea in purifying oil. It helps restaurants to
provide a great revenue and to save more money rather than buying everytime. Cooking oil
recycling also results in less used oil being disposed of in drains, which can clog sewage lines due
to the build-up of fats.

QUESTIONS:

a. How long would it take for the cooking oil to be purified?


b. What amount of apples peels will make the purifier effective?
c. What will be the effect of the apple peels to the duration in purifying cooking oil?

HYPOTHESIS:

If apple peels has Zirconium Oxide that is responsible for purifying then it is effective in
purifying oil.

Procedures:

The materials are prepared. The peels of the apple will be removed. The conical strainer is lined
together with the paper towel, making sure that there will be no oil that will leak. Line it also
with a cloth. The oil will be poured on the container. Wait for some minutes for tthe oil to pass
through.
