1.1 ANALYSIS DECK SLAB IN TRANSVERSE DIRECTION

1.1.1 STRUCTURAL MODEL


A Indipendent structural model (continuous Beam of crossection 1m x thickness of slab, supported at long girder Centreline) is developed in RM V8i software for Analys of deck slab in transverse direction
Figures Below shows the structural Model for transverse deck analysis. Crossection based on 1m width x thickness of deck slab is used in the structural model to define section properties

2.1 STRUCTURAL MODEL


A structural model (continuous Beam spopported at long girder Centreline) is developed in RM V8i software for Analysing in Live Load condition and jackup condition for bearing change.
The End Crossgirder is designed from worst effect from grillage model or this structural Model for live load condition. For Jackup condition Indipendent model is used by putting reverse of reactions
at bearing location from grillage analysis as load onto this structural model.
