INTRODUCTION
Galaxy 226 is a cold processable, pumpable pearl shine concentrate with a typical faint odour.

APPLICATIONS
The product is suited for the preparation of Pearle scent surfactant preparations. This product
can be blended with equal parts of water (50:50), the viscosity of the system has to be suitably
adjusted with salt. Common salt can be used. The salt levels should not exceed more than
2.0% and the same has to be added gradually. In the water added on could add any special
derivative one has to improve the product. The shampoo so made already is in built with
conditioners. In case you require more conditioning add external conditioners as desired.

GALAXY 226

Addition of colour and fragrance is done prior to salt addition. Fragrances used should be
suitable for shampoos (Non alcoholic) and food grade colours are recommended. Normally
0.5% of fragrance and around 20-30ppm of colour are sufficient to get desired results.
In case the end formulator desires to add any other active ingredient (herbal anti dandruff
agent) the same can added in this formulation at the desired dosage

Galaxy226 is available in 200 kg barrels i.e. 16.0 MT palletized or non palletized can be sent
as one Full Container Load

Recommended temperatures for handling and processing are 15-35 C. At temperatures below

5 C, the pumpability can suffer due to viscosity increase. This property is product specific; the
o
phenomenon can be reversed through tempering to 15 -30 C, if necessary with stirring.

During storage in metal containers Galaxy 226 can react corrosively. Therefore storage tanks
made of better quality or plastic are suitable for storing this product. At temperatures outside
the given range the pumpability may be restricted due to an increase in the viscosity.
