RESOLUTION NO. 001 S. 2019

RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE STATION LOGO AND THE

MEANING OR SYMBOLISM FOR ITS OFFICIAL USE, FUNCTIONS AND
TRANSACTION.

WHEREAS, The Malta Cross symbolizes protection, honor, courage and pride.
The fire helmet, ladder and pike, nozzle crossing, hydrant are representations of the
ideals of the fire service in saving lives and properties and the extinguishment of
destructive fires.

WHEREAS, The letters N and S represent Northern Samar wherein the

municipality of Las Navas is located.

WHEREAS, The coconut and abaca, and rice field both represents the
municipalities abundant source of livelihood for its people, while the PINIPISAKAN Falls
represents its ecotourism pride.

WHEREAS, The Two Pick Head Axe symbolizes the strong will to serve and protect the
people even if it means risking our own lives.

WHEREAS, The Rope ties the emblems together in a circular shape, it

represents equality in rights and justice, and unity for peace and development.

NOW THEREFORE, upon motion by Station Committee Vice-Chairman, duly

seconded by the Committee members.

RESOLVE, the Station Committee, Northern Samar hereto resolve to approve

and adopt the station logo and the meaning or symbolism for its official use, functions
and transaction.
