1. Purpose:
To lay down the procedure for preparation and standardization of LDM.

2. Scope:
This SOP shall be applicable for preparation and standardization of LDM in UHT section.

3. Responsibility:
Process Officer – Responsible for work activity.
Shift in-charge – Monitor the activities.

4. Accountability:
HOD – UHT Section

5. Procedure:
5.1. Refer to SOP- RECEIVING OF STANDARDIZED BATCH (SOP NO)
5.2. Ensure the required quantity of milk received
5.3. Batch shall be standardize by addition of the ingredients as per the product recipe.
5.4. QAD shall verify the batch as per the product specification.
5.5. As per QAD guidance proceed for further course of action.
5.6. Record the ingredients and product details in the batch card(….
