Description
The Bank for International Settlements seeks a Risk Analyst to analyse and report on
developments in the Bank’s market, credit and liquidity risk exposures as well as performance and
financial leverage.
We are an international organisation promoting global monetary and financial stability, and a bank
for central banks. We have a new strategy that includes expanding our range of products,
widening our investment universe and extending our customer outreach.

Your contribution to our mission

You will apply your financial risk expertise to measure, analyse, monitor and report on financial
risk, which will give you a good overview of our banking business. You will help design and
implement valuation methodologies. You will also leverage technology and work on the
development and maintenance of a unified risk reporting framework, risk systems and the market
data infrastructure. In addition, you will take part in Bank-wide projects and provide insights on
new financial instruments across risk types, valuation and performance measurement.

Your qualifications and experience

We look forward to meeting candidates with a master’s degree with a quantitative focus and
relevant experience in a risk function. You have a strong, broad understanding of financial risk
measurement, management and control. Developed Excel skills are a must, and experience with
Tableau and BusinessObjects would be a plus. You should also have excellent written and spoken
English.
