Cathodic Protection Reading Inspection

Cathodic Protection Reading - CP :

Two Types:

 Impression Current Method


 Sacrificial Anode Method

Impression current method is for long area coverage purpose.

Sacrificial Anode method is for some small area’s coverage.

Both case sacrificial anode is required.

CP method is worked for buried and submerged items ( Structural, Pipes, etc..)

CP reading is taken to know the potential range of Sacrificial Anode.

If the potential range is low than the required, we have to replace the sacrificial Anode.
