1. अभयथीर्

् य को सलाह दी जाती है िक वे परीक्षा-केनद्र् म प्रितबंिधत सामग्री अपने साथ न लाएँ । यिद वे इस प्रकार की वसत

जमा िकए ह, यह उस अभयथीर्
् की िजममे
् दारी है िक वह केवल अंितम सही और सवीक
् ृ त आवेदन के आधार पर परीक्षा म सि मिलत ह ।

् र् : अनंितम है । यह सलाह दी जाती है िक अभयिथर्

् य को केवल प्रवेश-पत्र म िदए गए परीक्षा-केनद्र् म ही परीक्षा म बैठने की अनुमित दी जाएगी ।

14. अभयिथर्
् य को यह सुिनि चत करना चािहए िक वे प्रवेश-पत्र की आयोग की प्रित पर सपष
् ट् एवं साफ बाएं हाथ के अंगूठे
का िनशान लगाएं, अपने रिनंग हसतले
् ख(running handwriting) म प्रमाणन िववरण िलख तथा हसताक्षर
् कर ।
15. िकसी भी अभयथीर्
् को िकसी कारणवश, परीक्षा पदािधकािरय से अनम
ु ित प्रापत
् िकए िबना परीक्षा के समापत
् होने से पूवर् परीक्षा कक्ष से
बाहर जाने की अनुमित नहीं है । यिद कोई अभयथीर्
् परीक्षा पदािधकािरय से अनुमित प्रापत
् िकए िबना परीक्षा कक्ष से बाहर जाता है तो उसे
परीक्षा कक्ष म पुन: प्रवेश की अनुमित नहीं दी जाएगी तथा उसे परीक्षा से वािरत कर िदया जाएगा ।
16. यिद कोई अभयथीर्
् परीक्षा के आयोजन म बाधा पहुंचाता हुआ अथवा परीक्षा केनद्र् म शांितभंग करता हुआ पाया जाता है तो उसकी
अभयिथर्
् ता ततकाल
् िनरसत ् कर दी जाएगी । ऐसे अभयथीर्
् को आयोग की भिवषय
् म होने वाली परीक्षाओं से वािरत भी िकया जा सकता है और

17. यिद परीक्षा िनधार्िरत समय पर आरं भ नहीं होती है अथवा िकसी तकनीकी खराबी या िकसी अनय
् कारण-वश बीच म बािधत हो जाती है , तो

् य को परीक्षा पदािधकािरय के अनुदेश का अनुसरण करना चािहए । उनह,

18. अभयिथर्
् य को आशवस
् त् िकया जाता है िक िकसी बड़ी/छोटी तकनीकी खराबी अथवा सवर्र की धीमी गित/सवर्र की खराबी इतयािद
् के
कारण परीक्षा म गितरोध उतपन
् न् होने की ि थित म, िकसी भी सूरत म उनके परीक्षा समय की हािन नहीं होगी, िजसके वे हकदार ह ।
19. अभयिथर्
् य को सलाह दी जाती है िक परीक्षा के संचालन के दौरान यिद कोई अिनयिमतता उनकी जानकारी म आती है तो वे संबंिधत क्षेत्रीय
कायार्लय/आयोग को सूिचत कर । ऐसे अभयिथर्
् य की पहचान गुपत
् रखी जाएगी ।

SPECIAL INSTRUCTION
GENERAL INTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES
1. Candidates should, in addition to their Admit Card, bring:
a) two copies of their latest colored photo (3 cm x 3.5 cm)
b) at least one photo identity proof in ORIGINAL with clear photograph (e.g. AADHAR Card, Driving License, Voter ID
Card, PAN Card, etc)
c) photocopy of identity proof mentioned at (b) above also.
If a candidate fails to bring the above documents, he/she would not be admitted in the examination venue and his/her candidature
could be cancelled.
2. Prohibited items, such as watches, books, pens, paper chits, magazines, electronic gadgets (mobile phones, bluetooth devices, head
phones, pen/buttonhole cameras, scanner, calculator, storage devices etc) are STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED in the examination lab. If
any such item is found in the possession of a candidate in the examination lab, his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled and
legal/criminal proceedings could be initiated against him/her. He/she would also liable to be debarred from appearing in future
examinations of the Commission for a period of 3 years.
3. Candidates are advised not to bring the prohibited items mentioned above to the examination venue. In case they bring any such item,
they would have to make their own arrangements for safe custody of such items. The Commission shall not make any arrangement
nor be responsible for the safe custody of any such item.
4. Pen/pencil and paper for rough work would be provided in the examination room. Electronic watch (timer) will be available on
the computer screen allotted to candidates.
5. All Exam Labs are under Video Surveillance.
6. The candidates are advised to avoid talking to other candidates or indulging in any unfair means.
7. CANDIDATES MUST ENSURE THAT THEY DO NOT APPEAR IN JUNIOR HINDI TRANSLATOR, JUNIOR
TRANSLATOR, SENIOR HINDI TRANSLATOR AND HINDI PRADHYAPAK EXAMINATION (PAPER-I) , 2018 MORE
THAN ONCE OR ELSE THEY WOULD RUN THE RISK OF THEIR CANDIDATURE NOT ONLY BEING CANCELLED
BUT ALSO OF THEIR BEING DEBARRED FROM FUTURE EXAMINATIONS OF THE COMMISSION FOR A PERIOD
OF THREE YEARS. In case the candidate has submitted more than one complete application, it is the responsibility of the candidate
to appear at the examination only against the last accepted application.
8. Candidature of candidates is purely provisional. It is advised that candidates should satisfy themselves that they fulfill all the
eligibility conditions. If at any stage it is found that a candidate does not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions, his/her candidature
shall be cancelled.
9. Candidates shall be permitted to appear in the exam only at the venue as specified in the Admission Certificate.
10. The entry of the Candidates inside the venue will ONLY be allowed: between 8.30 AM - 9.30 AM.
Note – Candidates reaching the venue after entry closing time shall not be allowed to enter the examination venue.
11. Candidates are advised to visit the exam venue at least one day in advance so that they can reach the examination venue on the date of
exam in time.
12. Candidates shall have to undergo the process of FRISKING and ensure that their BIOMETRIC REGISTRATION is completed before
they enter the examination lab. Candidates shall not be allowed to leave the examination venue once their Biometric registration is
completed.
13. CANDIDATES MUST STRICTLY ABIDE BY THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN BY THE EXAM FUNCTIONARIES (CENTRE
SUPERVISOR / INVIGILATOR, ETC).
14. The candidates should ensure that they provide clear Left Thumb Impression (LTI), Certification Statement in their running
handwriting and signature on Commission’s copy of Admission Certificate.
15. No candidate is allowed to leave the examination lab before the completion of the examination for any reason without permission
from the exam Functionaries. Once a candidate leaves the lab without the permission of the exam functionaries, he/she shall not be
allowed to re-enter the examination lab and shall be debarred from the examination.
16. If any candidate is found obstructing the conduct of the examination or creating disturbances at the examination venue, his/her
candidature shall be summarily cancelled. Such candidate shall also be liable to be debarred from future examinations of the Commission
and legal/criminal proceedings could be initiated against him/her.
17. If the examination does not commence at the scheduled time or is interrupted midway due to any technical snag or for any other
reason, candidates should follow the instructions of the exam functionaries. They may have to wait patiently till the issue is suitably
addressed and resolved. In case, the problem is major and cannot be resolved for any reason, their examination may be rescheduled for
which the candidates would be duly intimated.
18. Candidates are assured that in case of any disruption of examination for any reason such as any major/minor technical snag or slow
speed of server/breakdown of server etc., they will not, under any circumstances, lose the examination time to which they are entitled.
19. Candidates are advised to report to the concerned Regional office/ Commission, in case they notice any irregularity during conduct of
examination. The identity of such candidates will be kept confidential.
20. In case of any doubt or any clarification, the candidates are advised to contact the concerned Regional Offices of the Commission
personally or through the helpline numbers / e-mail as indicated at top of page1 of the Admission Certificate.

General Instructions:

1. The clock will be set at the server. The countdown timer in the top right corner of screen will display the remaining time
available for you to complete the examination. When the timer reaches zero, the examination will end by itself. You will not be
required to end or submit your examination.
2. The Question Palette displayed on the right side of screen will show the status of each question using one of the following
symbols:

3. The Marked for Review status for a question simply indicates that you would like to look at that question again.
4. You can click on the ">" arrow which appears to the left of question palette to collapse the question palette thereby maximizing
the question window. To view the question palette again, you can click on "< " which appears on the right side of question
window.
5. You can click on your "Profile" image on top right corner of your screen to change the language during the exam. On clicking
 of Profile image you will get a drop-down to change the question content to the desired language.

6. You can click on to navigate to the bottom and to navigate to the top of the question area, without scrolling.

Navigating to a Question:
7. To answer a question, do the following:
a. Click on the question number in the Question Palette at the right of your screen to go to that numbered question
directly. By selecting answer to this question and thereafter going to the next question directly from question palette
does NOT save your answer to the current question.
b. Click on Save & Next to save your answer for the current question and then go to the next question.
c. Click on Mark for Review & Next to save your answer for the current question, mark it for review, and then go to
the next question.

Answering a Question:

8. Procedure for answering a multiple choice type question:

a. To select your answer, click on the button of one of the options
b. To deselect your chosen answer, click on the button of the chosen option again or click on the Clear Response button
c. To change your chosen answer, click on the button of another option
d. To save your answer, you MUST click on the Save & Next button
e. To mark the question for review, click on the Mark for Review & Next button.
9. To change your answer to a question that has already been answered, first select that question for answering and then follow the
procedure for answering the question.

Navigating through sections:

10. Sections in this question paper are displayed on the top bar of the screen. Questions in a section can be viewed by clicking on
the section name. The section you are currently viewing is highlighted.
11. After clicking the Save & Next button on the last question for a section, you will automatically be taken to the first question of
the next section.
12. You can shuffle between sections and questions anytime during the examination as per your convenience.
13. Candidate can view the corresponding section summary as part of the legend that appears in every section above the question
palette.
