Revised Cardiorespiratory Endurance Goal: Finish the one and a half mile run test in under 12 minutes
(No change)
SMART Objectives:
Specific: Warm up with a 5-minute walk at 3 mph. Jog at a pace of 5 mph at a 5% incline every morning
mon-fri for at least 20 minutes nonstop to improve endurance. Attempt mile and a half run every Friday
evening after work during 10-week span.
Measurable: Smart watch will be able to log each workout done every morning. Record time of every
mile and a half run to check for improvement. Current time is 13:34 so a 10 second improvement each
week would get me to my goal.
Attainable: I have a treadmill at home which makes it very easy and accessible for me to get my
workouts in. I work in the evenings which gives me lots of time in the morning to fit my workouts in.
Realistic: I have the time, resources, and commitment to achieve goal. A 10 second weekly
improvement seems realistic enough.
Time Frame: By the end of the semester (10 weeks) I’ll be able to run the mile and a half in under 12
minutes
