Ask: Why do males are more prone to colorblindness than woman?
B. ENGAGE Show a picture of a 10 person (3 bald male, 2 male not bald and 1
female bald and 4 female not bald). Ask the students: what will be the
siblings of this couple?(refer to the chosen male and female)
C. EXPLORE Define some terms that will be used in the discussion. Show the table
of pattern for baldness in human.
Activity:
Group the class into 5.
Do the activity "Sex – influenced traits".
Present the rubrics for the said activity.

1. Predict the genotype and phenotype ratio of the offspring if the father
is bald and mother is not bald.
2. How many of their children will be bald?

D. EXPLAIN Ask:
What is sex – influenced trait?
How does sex – influenced trait affect an individual?
Why does male always experience baldness than woman?
E. ELABORATE Supposed that your father is a bald and your mother is bald, will there
be a chance for a sibling to become non-bald? Explain.
F. EVALUATE Directions: Read and analyze the statement. Solve the problem using
Punnett Square.
