STEP 1: Prepare all the instruments.

measure 20 meters from the assigned
point to the first set up of the tripod.

STEP 3: Then, set up the tripod.

the tripod, then level the device by
adjusting the leveling screws.

the device 180°.

STEP 6: Twist the device's focusing knob

until the image is clear.

STEP 7: After reading the level of BM1,

record the data and signal the rodman to
move on the next point.
 STEP 8: Measure another 20 m from the
tripod then rotate the device 180°.

STEP 9: Then, read the level of IFS1.

Record the data gathered.

STEP 10: Measure another 20 m and mark

it as the IFS2. Read the level of IFS2 and
measure another 20 m for the IFS3. Read
STEP 11: Then, move the tripod, 20 m the level of IFS3 and record the data.
from IFS3.

STEP 12: Then check the device if it is

leveled properly. If not, level it first
STEP 13: Repeat the process of the first
before gathering data.
set up, read the level of BS1, IFS4, IFS 5
and IFS 6. Then move to 3rd and last set
up. Then read the level of BS2, IFS7, IFS8
and BM2.

STEP 14: After recording all the data,

pack all the instruments and make
sure that they are all in good state.
