Personal Branding, summary of texts A and B

Both texts presented discourse about personal branding and enhance the need
that is to build a personal brand in today’s world and market in order to stay
competitive and get your projects and objectives done.

Text A discuss about personal branding in a more descriptive manner, claiming


some individuals are aparently supposedly born or raised with a natural talent to
promote their own brand and project themselves without much effort, while
others do not share the same fate and need to study and slowly build their own
brand with care and zeal. Text A also highlight the advantages of building a
personal branding and how this is today a “must” for any individual who want to
have their dreams reached.
Text B is more prescriptive and talk about more “what you should do” instead of
“what it is” (as with Text A), advising people interested in building a personal
brand to seek professional assistance with areas and tools they are not
acquainted with, like searching for a good paid writer to produce na article if
one’s writing skills are not that sharp. Also, Text B recommend, when building a
personal brand, to not remain static: in a each day more competitive market, it
is of upmost importance to always “research new trends” and “evolve your
brand” and to develop and adapt your skills to these needs.

The conclusion is that the autors have distinct opinions and views about
personal branding, Text A being more descriptive and discussing this subject in
a more explicit, objective, sort of “absolute truth” fashion, while Text B is more
focused on just advising people on tips when building their personal brand, but
also displaying the same dyed-in-the-wool type of language the first text has.
Both texts agree with the level of importance personal branding has in today’s
world and focus in the process of learning to build your own personal brand.
