In Autumn 2011, I hired Michael to score and arrange music for a feature-length motion picture titled Spectrauma. He quickly understood the work's technical, logistical and creative requirements. Relying upon email and phone conversations, the long-distance (interstate) collaboration went refreshingly smoothly. When I requested adjustments to particular music cues, Michael promptly supplied updated recordings. [He worked efficiently, delivering the final arrangements on-time within an ageressive schedule. I am extremely pleased with Mr. McGroarty's musical score, as it so precisely captures the story's atmosphere and visceral impact. His sublime talent elevated the show's ‘overall quality.
